i love this “rough around the edges” (literally) tablecloth.  usually tablecloths are so formal, i like how this one looks like it was just cut from a fabric store specifically for this room without even hemming the edges!

i need to make a mental note of this for my dining room.

I like the rough-edge table cloth too.  I’ve been looking for a solution for my table and this might be it.  Also: I’m not sure a mental note is necessary—isn’t the whole point of tumbling like this that it serves as a non-mental note? I feel a bit like if you’re reblogging other people’s posts with your notes for someone other than yourself, you’re doing it wrong.

I’ve always thought I wanted the Chicago lab-style fixtures… but this is kind of a cool combination of sharper design and simpler function.  I can get behind this.  Fuck touch-sensitive faucets and those dumb, weird ones with the pulls awkwardly attached to the side. Function. It’s a fucking faucet.
